Introduction

The Share widget renders a row of icon buttons for the social networks whose URLs are passed into the container.

The current implementation supports Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Flipboard. Each rendered URL is passed through `addParam` so UniSignIn share traffic can be tagged with `utm_source=unisignin&utm_campaign=share`.

A `darkMode` option changes the border and icon styling so the same widget can sit on light or dark article headers without custom CSS forks.

2Built-In Campaign Tagging: Share links receive UniSignIn campaign parameters before opening, which helps attribute traffic generated through the widget.
3Light And Dark Styling: The component includes light and dark visual modes rather than forcing a single style across every placement.
4External Share Targets: Each button opens the provided share target in a new tab or app handoff, preserving the current page session while still sending the user to the share destination.

Integration

The share widget is rendered on `data-exp="unis-share"` containers. It relies on SyncCMS being enabled in `window.UNISIGNIN_CONFIG`, and it reads the social URLs directly from the container dataset.

`data-dark-mode` can be set to `dark` for the darker icon treatment.
`data-facebook`, `data-twitter`, `data-linkedin`, `data-whatsapp`, and `data-flipboard` control which share buttons appear.
